We spoke with Mr. Jyrki T. Haavisto about why he introduced Repsona, how he uses it, and the impact it has had on his work.
Koichi: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Repsona. To begin, could you tell us about your company and the type of work it focuses on?
Jyrki: Of course! Our company specializes in financial and investment advisory services, as well as managing investment funds for affluent clients. We help clients make informed decisions by developing tailored investment strategies that align with their financial goals and risk tolerance. The financial industry evolves rapidly, so we constantly refine our strategies to deliver the best possible results for our clients.
Koichi: That sounds like a highly strategic role. Helping clients make sound financial decisions certainly requires deep expertise. What is your position, and what kind of responsibilities do you handle?
Jyrki: I serve as a Director. My responsibilities include overseeing operations, managing investment strategies, and ensuring that clients receive advice best suited to their financial objectives. I also work closely with analysts and advisors to craft financial plans that balance growth and risk. Additionally, I focus on compliance and building strong, lasting client relationships.
Koichi: How do you use Repsona in your work?
Jyrki: We use Repsona to manage a project related to launching a new company. It helps us stay on top of our progress, tasks, and deadlines—crucial elements when building a new business. Having a clear overview of every stage makes coordination easier and ensures nothing slips through the cracks. Before using Repsona, we had to juggle multiple spreadsheets and long email threads, which made project tracking inefficient and time-consuming.
Koichi: That must have been quite a challenge! Managing a startup project involves many moving parts, so having a centralized tool is key. What were the main challenges you faced before adopting Repsona?
Jyrki: The biggest challenge was maintaining a clear, unified view of our project—knowing what needed to be done, by whom, and by when. Without structure, it was difficult to measure progress effectively. We often spent too much time in meetings just to confirm the current status of tasks. It sometimes led to miscommunication and even duplicated work, which slowed us down.
Koichi: What made you choose Repsona over other project management tools?
Jyrki: We needed something simple but effective for managing a relatively straightforward project with a small team. Repsona fit perfectly. Other tools we looked at were either overly complex or lacked the intuitive interface we wanted. We needed a tool that would streamline our workflow—not complicate it—and Repsona delivered exactly that.
Koichi: It’s wonderful to hear that Repsona has worked well for you. Once you started using it, how was your experience?
Jyrki: It’s been great so far. The learning curve was very gentle, and the tool does exactly what we need—no unnecessary features, no confusion. It integrates smoothly into our workflow and reduces redundant communication. We now spend far less time on administrative coordination and can focus more on executing our plans.
Koichi: Are there any features or improvements you’d like to see in the future?
Jyrki: At the moment, not really. Repsona’s current features meet our needs very well. However, as our projects grow in scale and complexity, more advanced features could be useful—for example, automated task dependencies or enhanced reporting. It would be great to see Repsona continue to evolve in that direction.
Koichi: That’s very helpful feedback. We’ll certainly keep that in mind as we continue developing Repsona. Thank you for sharing your experience—it’s always valuable to hear how users apply it in real projects.
Jyrki: My pleasure! It’s great to use a tool that not only works well but also listens to its users.
Koichi: Thank you again for your time and insights. We’re truly glad that Repsona has been helpful in your work, and we look forward to continuing to support you in the future!

Tasks can be added and removed on the Gantt chart (Timeline) screen, and parent-child relationships can be changed easily. This is the best.

The concept of "ball" is the decisive factor. It's nice to be able to quickly discover where the task is stopped.

It's really nice to have project management and document management in one tool
